Who are Cater Link?
Cater Link was founded in 1993 by Tony McKenna; its contracting activities began in 1998 and since then Cater Link has grown rapidly, achieving recognition as one of Britain's most dynamic companies in 'The Sunday Times 2003 Fast Track 100'.
Tony McKenna has over 20 years' experience in the contract catering industry, having worked for major contractors in both operational management and business development.

The Cater Link approach to school meals rests on a firm foundation of our Fresh Food Policy that ensures in excess of 90% of our menu offer is freshly prepared on site each day using high quality and fresh ingredients supplied by local and regional suppliers who care about their produce. Much of our seasonal salad produce is grown in Kent & Sussex.
Our chefs and cooks are trained to ensure that meals are prepared so that they contain the maximum amount of nutrients. Indeed our menus are prepared by Cater Link's Executive Chef after detailed consultation and all our menus and recipes are vetted by a qualified nutritionist.

Tasting Sessions
Please look out for the tasting sessions which will be happening at a school near you soon, these help us to demonstrate the fresh food offer we have in place, giving you the opportunity to taste samples of the current meal offer we are serving to your children.

1 year on!
On 1 September 2008 we celebrate our 1st anniversary of providing meals in Islington for your children.
We have enjoyed the last year, and look forward to developing the great offer we have installed. All our food is produced fresh on site daily by our cooks to ensure your child gets only the best quality food, full of nutritious goodness.
